Little Man Tate

(Jodie Foster, 1991)

Wex Wide Open Screening

Little Man Tate

Oscar-winning actress Jodie Foster’s directorial debut, Little Man Tate follows the triumphs and travails of a seven-year-old boy with a genius IQ (Adam Hann-Byrd) and his single mother (Foster), who reluctantly places him in a school for gifted children. The film was shot in various locations around Ohio, including the Wexner Center, which provided the setting for the “Odyssey of the Mind” sequence. You’ll see our galleries as they looked not long after we opened (and our Film/Video Theater and Performance Space transformed for the occasion!) (99 mins., 35mm) The screening is part of our Wex Wide Open day of family-friendly events.
